For July, August, and September 2009, the Classic pup is donating 17% of all sales to the  Animal Rescue League of New Hampshire (ARL NH), located in Bedford, NH,  servicing the towns of Amherst, Auburn, Bedford, Brookline, Candia, Dunbarton, Francestown, Goffstown, Hollis, Hooksett, Litchfield, Londonderry, Lyndeborough, Manchester, Merrimack, Milford, Mont Vernon, New Boston, Peterborough, Wilton, and Windham.

A few things that make ARL NH stand out to the Classic pup, are its dedication to spaying and neutering animals to reduce overpopulation, its southern connection with a shelter in Mississippi to take in puppies that would otherwise be euthanized, and its dependence on private funding.  

One cause the Classic pup strongly believes in and supports as much as possible is the spaying and neutering of any animal that is not a breeding dog.  We want to see the number of unplanned litters of puppies reduced, especially considering the number of reputable breeders and unclaimed and unwanted puppies and dogs in need of a good home.  ARL NH has a Community Assistance Program that services multi-animal households and individuals receiving state aid who have pets that need to be altered.  They also have an on-site spay and neuter suite that ensures that every animal that leaves their facility has been spayed or neutered.  Additionally, the ARL NH has also teamed up with a high-kill shelter in Mississippi to bring healthy puppies to NH for adoption to families and people who want a puppy.  Without this southern connection, many of these puppies would be euthanized. 

Another BIG reason we chose ARL NH for our third quarter 2009 donation, is because they do not receive federal, state, or United Way funding to stay in operation.   They fully depend on private donations from people, various businesses and events to support their cause.  SO, for the months of July, August, and September, the Classic pup is honored to present the 17% donation to the Animal Rescue League of New Hampshire, and want to thank YOU, our newest most valuable customer, for your help in making this happen!
